Peter Driben was one of the most prolific, and certainly one of the best, cover artists to work on the risqué ‘girlie pulp’ magazines that flourished in the USA between the mid-1920s and the mid-1950s. This meticulously-researched, lavishly-illustrated book is a glorious celebration of his work, and an absolutely essential addition to the bookshelves of anyone with a taste for classic pin-up and magazine cover artwork. Now available in a revised edition with 16 pages of additional material – including a rare photograph of Driben in his studio – and some images in improved quality.
