What we want …
We are looking for well-rounded stories with sexual/erotic content. They must have a strong plot and convincing characters but can be in any setting and can be cross-genre. So supernatural stories, ghost stories, or merely modern day drama will all be considered. But these should be erotic, steamy and may push the boundaries and be explicit as long as there is a good story/plot there too! (Any level of sexual content is acceptable – so don’t hold back!).
Love and relationships can be explored within this genre, however we are not looking for teen romance or angst-driven supernatural fiction.
All content should be aimed at the adult market. And should, above all, be well-written.
Think Mitizi Szereto, Nine and a Half Weeks, Black Lace.
Submission requirements …
In the first instance send a one page synopsis with the first 5000 words of your manuscript as a doc, docx or rtf file by email to submissions@telos.co.uk.
Layout will be to professional standard so – single quote marks, English UK spellings and grammar. Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt. Double spaced.
This file should also contain a cover sheet with your legal name, address, telephone contact details and e-mail address in the top left hand corner. Right top corner should state whether this is a novel, novella or short story collection and the genre. Centred, halfway down the page, should be the title of your work and your preferred author name. Bottom left should show the approximate word count of your completed manuscript.
