ABOUT THE EDITOR
Alison L R Davies is a writer and storyteller from Nottingham, and her fiction has appeared in numerous magazines and anthologies. Her first collection of short stories, Small Deaths, was published in limited edition hardback, and her first short novel, King of the Birds, came out in 2005. She has written articles, stories and features for a number of popular magazines and newspapers including The Times Educational Supplement, the Daily Mail, Writers News, Writers Forum, Record Collector and Eve. As a storyteller, Alison has performed her work at venues throughout the UK. She loves to lift the words from the page and make them come alive for an audience. She runs regular storytelling workshops for adults and children. Her book Storytelling in the Classroom includes a number of children’s stories and educational materials to be used by teachers.
