The point is this – there is no way that the special colour section in the second edition of the TOYBOX, featuring every DWM cover from #1 to the present, would have existed if not for the indispensable contribution and support of Martyn Alner, who provided the scans for every cover featured in that section. How did we miss putting his name and superb DWM archival website, www.martsplace.co.uk, in the acknowledgements?
On that page, we do note that there are often people we might forget to name who we nevertheless want to thank for their help, but we did want to draw attention to Martyn’s contribution and thank him for all the support. Next time we’ll get it right
